The POA Dance Team has been an amazing opportunity for me. I have made many new friends and learned dance from an AMAZING coach.

When I joined the dance team, I only knew 3 people on the team. Now after a year of meeting each other repeatedly, I am good friends with every single person on the dance team. We have got to know each other a lot during practices, games, and competitions. At the national’s competition, we stayed with roommates and got to spend even more time together. When I am with the dance team, I am surrounded by some of my closest friends, and I would love to keep it that way this upcoming school year. Not only did I make good friends with the dance team, but with our coach too!

Our dance coach, Coach Scarlett, is the best dance coach ever! She always gives us amazing gifts for Christmas, competitions, and other things too. She is really nice and makes me feel like she is a friend and a coach at the same time. I love how she makes sure we do everything to our best potential without being a strict coach. I don’t know anyone who doesn’t like her which proves how  Coach Scarlett and the dance moms figured out solutions to our problems and made it work perfectly. I really like having Coach Scarlett as a coach and I wouldn’t ask for anyone else.

The dance team is super fun and everyone in it enjoys it a lot. It made sixth grade A LOT more fun, and I can’t wait to spend more time with my friends next year. It was definitely the highlight of the school year, and I know it will be again next year too!
