Libraries and activities
One of the things I love doing with my son is going to the library . The nearest library to Durbin Crossing is Bartram Trail Branch (also called the “Julington Creek Library”) located at 60 Davis Pond Blvd. Fruit Cove, FL.
The library has movies, audiobooks, and music on top of all their books. Each branch has a range of great activities and classes for kids (and adults) and all are free with a library card.
Library for Kids:
There are so many fantastic programs for kids of all ages. If you are looking for something fun to do with your littles, the branches have storytime for toddlers. There are classes that encourage dancing and crafts. For elementary age kids, the library has classes like a robotics lab, kids book clubs, and art and crafts.

Library for Teens: Yes, teens have lots of resources too! One of the things I love is that the library provides live homework help. Talk about a life saver! Teens can also take classes such as Pull String Painting, and listen to podcasts like Anime Corner.

Library for Adults: Surprise! The library does classes for adults too! Who knew? From Recipe Swap to Yoga, the calendar seems endless. All you have to do is look and chances are you’ll find something intriguing.

Library for the Family:
Looking for something the whole family can enjoy near Durbin Crossing? Yep, the library can help you there too! Branches will host Movie Nights where they play popular kid-friendly films. Oh, and snacks and drinks are provided!
Beyond the physical locations and checking out books, the library also has an online system through Hoopla. Once you have an account you can digitally download books right to your electronic device - making getting your next read even easier.
If you have a passion for writing and are looking for resources, there is a place for that too! The library has a Writer’s Resource Page on their website to help with editing, formatting, and publishing your book!
